For those of you that don’t know me my name is Dean Johnson.
I am a moderately experienced Middle Earth player. I will be gaining more experience, particularly of the new ME Kin-strife module.
I have known Clint and Rob for decades and have agreed with them to join the ME Games team. I will provide back up to Rob when needed but he is your GM! My role is more to take on the longer term strategic issues, manage development, modules, help set-up new games, events, promotions, marketing, be available for contact with the players etc…
I hope that me joining the team improves what is already on offer and ultimately expands it!
Hi Drew! I helped process a Kin-strife game with Rob today and from the GM end I think that it was looking fairly robust.
I start in a Kin-strife game imminently to try and get the feel from the player side as to game/module balance, playability etc…
If you have had experience already, I understand several KS games have run to completion, do please PM me any thoughts and I can look out for those facets as I go along!

For me if you can bring in a new player base or just bring in an old player base, I would be ecstatic. I have waited 4 months for a game to start and still may wait another month or two. My thoughts were that the Hobbit movie would bring in players, yet it seems to have not done so. I believe helping to create a social aspect to the game other than forums, would really help to create an interest in the game again.
I was waiting for a 2950 game to start. It should be starting soon, though it may start without me. I would entreat you to speak on customer service skills with Rob and read my email. Am I unhappy? Yes. Am I being biased? Most likely. Am I being rational? Probably not. Did you guys make a mistake? In my opinion, yes.
In this situation your company is not going above and beyond, instead I feel like I am asked to go above and beyond.
I shall leave the waters murky on this and not clarify my complaints. It is not my desire to hurt MEPBM. Though I know not how to reach you and help you understand what your company could do to help bring and keep players.
William, was this game 228? I know Rob was juggling lots of factors to get this setup yesterday. I was very busy myself but from the looks of things it was started? Did you not play/get the position you wanted? Do PM if there was a problem. I know these 25 player games take a while to setup get going, it would be a shame if you wanted to but have not jumped on board!

The issue is resolved, hopefully it is a lesson learned for both MEPBM and myself. It wasn’t so much that I didn’t get a specific position, it was that I asked a pointed question and it was not researched. I did not realize how busy Rob has been and truly my question originally was meant to help both of us and I got frustrated by the results, possibly too frustrated.
Great! Really good to hear its all worked out! Rob was there on that Friday(?) with maps and coloured pens (DS/FP/Neutral) trying to fit everyone onto the map happy! Took a while to solve that rubik’s cube I think! Now go and visit destruction on your enemies!
