New NKA Forming - suggest some modifications

I don't have a problem with agents in the TA scenarios where curse squads give a very real defense and counter offensive to agents. My problem is with the FA rules where lack of cursers means there is no effective (well, none I've seen used effectivly) defense to agents. In FA, the side with the best agents wins.

It is FA that spawned the LAS and NKA games. While LAS delays the beginning of the killing by a few turns, it doesn't alter the fact that there is no effective defense to assassins.

NKA has its own problems as pointed out by Marc. It becomes nearly impossible to take a mountain MT as the owner can easily block emissaries with an army, and delay attacking armies with blocking forces.

I really think the "Kill than die" suicidal assassins would be an interesting game to try. The defense to assassins would be that each one can only kill once. People would be able to assassinate when it is realy important, but wouldn't be able to launch a sustained attack of killing 10-15-20 characters every turn.
