I'm not convinced we need a third option. How significant are these "reasons" within the context of an entertainment product with dragons and magic swords? Come on, do tell....

To say its just either "honorable" or "Stupid" doesn't give the full
picture.
For example, in one game I'm playing, a neutral publically declared to
both sides he was turning free BEFORE making any aggressive moves.
While tatically it would have been better to attack then declare, I
know the reasons why he didn't, and I support his stance. (even though
he joined the other side 8-(.. )
