new riddle to solve!!

Any help with the following riddle would be appreciated.

King, witch, Lord,
One who would sow great discord.
Though fearful he was, some would sing
that all his power came from the ring.

I have tried Witch King and Murazor with no luck.
           Thanks!

RD: have you tried reading any of Tolkien's books? The clues - to quote an
absolutely awful UK daytime TV quiz show - are there.

Richard.

Not sure but... try:

Dwimmerlaik

This was a title of the Lord of the Nazgûl (Witch King) given to him
by Éowyn in her guise as Dernhelm during the Battle of the Pelennor

I had thought about that also, but "Sauron" answers aren't usually
too fruitful, in fact they often are deadly. THanks for the
suggestion though!

Anyone tried "Lord of the Nazgul"? Just a suggestion!

Richard,
I have read all of the Tolkein books many times over, but I do
not receive UK television so that probably explains why I never
thought of looking in them! I do recognize the word dumbkopf because
we do get Hogan's Hero's here in the states. Thanks for your
wonderful words of wisdom. It's really comforting when you get
insults from someone who isn't even sure of the information they are
supplying!!
I was going to write and ask why you were such an anal and
insulting prick (Dick?), but I decided not to.
To the individuals who were respectful and DID provide some
constructive advice, I thank you and will let you know when I confirm
the answer.

Hello Jim - please don't stoop to this. Richard it would help if you use
somewhat less condescending language. Note Email regularly does this - ie
words are taken to mean something that was not intended - be aware of that
when you send messages please. END OF DISCUSSION.

Clint:

Personally, I was giving Richard the benefit of the doubt. His
message regarding "dumbkopf" did not offend me. I hope we are not
quick to judge Richard's intent. I am new to the MEPBM group, so
maybe there is some history that I am missing (no pun intended!).

Good luck with the riddle, Jim. Let us know how it turns out!

Respectfully,

Christopher

Try Annatar

It was the name given to Sauron (meaning Lord of Gifts) by the elves when
he tried to 'seduce' (ooh-er) them.

Kev the anorak.
