new riddle to solve!!

Richard,

I think several people who have read the books are having trouble with this
riddle. Do you know the answer (i.e. answered it correctly in-game) or do
you have a "best guess"?

RD: I confess I have not solved this riddle in-game, but if you've read
Tolkien's books, esp Silmarilion, the answer is inescapably Sauron.

There is a BIG problem with some riddles because you don't know whether the
answer lies in some obscure Tolkien quote, say from 'Unfinished Tales,' or
from something in the ICE sourcebooks on which the GSI game is based.
