Hello,
this is Amelia again, the lurking artist....
two things.... 1) how could anyone not have read the Tolkien trilogy,
especially anyone who would be playing this game. No intention here to
demean anyone, not at all. I was just amazed by the last post. It never
occurred to me that someone wouldn't have read them. Actually, I am
very envious of them. Imagine reading them for the first time again....
sigh... I can't even count how many times I have re-read them. It's
like visiting old friends. Having been worried about seeing the movie,
I feel much better after reading all of the postive posting here.
and 2) I have put up a temporary (new, unfinished, beginning) web-
site for people to see what my drawings looked like before the low
resolution scans that GSI did.

The ones that are up now are not too detailed. I am working on the ones
that were VERY detailed. (they will go up AFTER the holidays) You would
know them by the black masses of ink that you have seen. : ) The
drawings all need cleaning up, as a result of a fire in the mid 90's.
All got a little 'smoked'. I am slowly cleaning them up in Photoshop.
you will see that I haven't named any of them.... for legal
reasons. You guys should know who they all are...off the top of my
head, I think they are Akhorahil (sp?), Nimrodel, Duran, Gorthog,
Maben?, and maybe Malezar?..... (Sam or Clint, you can drag the
Akhorahil jpg into Photoshop or wherever, if you want to use it)
hope everyone has a good holiday..... my brother used to live in
London and dearly misses Boxing Day. I try to give him a nice punch in
the tummy on the day after Christmas, to make him feel better. (you UK
people DO realize that us ignorant Americans think you guys go around
punching each other all day......)
