I concur – one or more Gunboat strategy/tactics article in News from Bree would be most welcome! Given professional, family and sporting commitments, I do not have the time to spend sharing and absorbing all the information distributed in a normal game. I can play only Gunboat games; but I also consider myself something of a novice. So I, for one, would benefit greatly from Gunboat discussion and articles.

I will strive to compose and submit articles from my own Gunboat games once they get started. Those would describe my experiences and observations as the games unfold from the perspective of a novice player. But I would really like to see articles from experienced players as well.

Now you know that happens to be the first bright idea muller has had Ihave ever seen so perhaps he is improving.

I would share my “greatness” but so many seem to doubt it, even though I have yet to be on the losing side in a GB game.

I have a question. I just recieved my set-ups for Gunboat game 86. I would like to submit game commentary to News from Bree. But Gunboat rules forbid me from revealing the nations I am playing or otherwise conducting information-sharing and/or diplomacy (other than the 50-word diplo card once per 5 turns). So my question is this: must I wait until the game is completed before sharing commentary?

Yeah, I suppose you guys are right. I see no way of publishing Gunboat game commentary while the game is still going without violating the Gunboat rules. I will maintain a diary and offer that once the game is concluded.

In the meantime, I’d love to read about the Gunboat experiences others have had.
