no quit gb 63 journals

Gentlemen,

just a short reminder for those of you in game 63 to keep journals. it makes a lot more fun to read all the reports after game end, i.e. when my side has beaten the opponents to pulp

I will write a paragraph about every five turns as I have done with game 94, I find that this is just the right balance between detail and effort.

Please note everyone that this game is a diplo game. This is the diplo turn. For my allies, please use the diplo, for my enemies, please donā€™t use the diplo.

Oh wait, we donā€™t know who allies and enemies are. Everyone please use your diplo, it should make the game so much more enjoyable.

Clint is the diplo limited to 30 words or 50.

Tim Huiatt

I am keeping a journal. Tony said he would as well so that we can compare notes at game end.

Hya guys - please be careful posting. Actually I prefer you donā€™t as it implies that youā€™re active in the game.

Check out the main body of the email for the size of diplo (from memory itā€™s 30)

Clint

Taking care in posting on the forum about gunboat games should always be observed, but has something changed so that starting players are no longer listed in GB games? After all, this is a ā€œno dropā€ game, is it not, so safe to assume the starting guys are still active? Even then, we have no idea which positions Bernd, Tim, and Tony are playing from these posts.

Presuming that the GB Combos posting is up-to-date, all players / nation-pairs who started GB 63 are still at it in GB 63. Thus the postings above give away nothing IMO.

And yes Virginia, I am keeping a journal since everyone bugged me to do it. My only hope is that someone reads the dadgum thing whenever weā€™re all done. Iā€™m not sure anyone reads these journalsā€¦

Dave,
Actually, quite a few lurkers are out there that do read them. (including myself) So please do post them once the game is over.

Scavenger

The journals are greatā€¦ please post them. I personally like to read them (and when I play again will make an effort to keep them upto date.)

Clint (Player)

ok cool. my literary (sic) efforts will not to be no avail.

Quick reminder. You can send ONE diplo - that goes to all your team.

Clint (GM)

Dave,

I love to read the journals also. I am currently doing them everyturn related to my thought process. The first few turns are more detailed but than it gets a little less as the actions are now all in place and running their course one way or the other.
