In a discussion with Richard Devereux about the respective merits of the
two teams in 1650:
"I agree that the DS are at an advantage - but no-one ever said that it was
50-50. Generally the way a team wins:
1) Players get their turns in
2) Players contact their team-mates and diplome together
3) They chat to the Neutrals and give them an option
4) Then, the ability of the respective teams come into play
5) Then the ability of the actual nations is important.
(Just my opinion - but having seen things for a while now it appears to go
like this).
As for the Brit games it is something like 7-5 at present with the DS - 58%
of the wins to the DS."
