Odd Doings

From: "Lord Grrrr!!!!" <grrrr!!!!@squamata.in2home.co.uk>

There have been some funny goings-on in 4th age game 44. The
game has just
finished and even at the end there was, apparently, an odd happening.

The final standings indicate that the highest agent in the
game (including
artefacts) was ranked 119. Despite this a character being guarded by an
agent with a rank of nearly 100 (natural with no artefacts) was
assassinated.

Can anyone suggest how an agent of 119 or less can get past a guard of
almost 100 ?

I think you can now work out why games without agent SNA are popular

Basically once an agent gets around 100 in skill then they don't get stopped
by guards. In fact they often hurt the guard. While the game was changed in
the past to make guard equal to double the agent skill, it never seemed to
stop down high level agents.

We always suggest attack instead of defense at such high levels.

Judi, we have lost your e-mail address so can't send direct. If you are
reading this and as it was your character that did the
business, what about giving us a clue ?

Holger, same with your e-mail address. If you are reading
this, did that
character we executed just ease you out of first place ? (GRIN)
