Have you heard about Infinite Threads?
Infinite Threads is a new 'zine created and run by
experienced players and
GM's of Play-By-Mail and Play-By-Email games alike. The
'zine will be based
along the lines of Diplomacy 'zines the world over, and will
be published
once every two weeks. Essentially, the 'zine will contain a
number of small
games - at present the list reads as follows ..
Diplomacy (standard) - 7 players per game
Diplomacy Downfall (a variant based upon Tolkein's Middle
Earth) - 7 players
per game
Bozisha Miraz (adventure for trading guilds in the far south
of Middle
Earth) - open to all
Great White Hunter (a sort of Jungle Battleships) - open to
all
Stockbroker (stocks and share game) - open to all
..plus many others
Other games will be created as and when required, or
requested by players

Anyone taking an interest should contact the above address
for a free copy
of the first edition.
If you are interested, then subsequent issues will cost you
only two GBP a
month, i.e. 1 GBP an issue. This entitles you to play in as
many little
games as you like. This will also give you access to the
website being
constructed which will contain various PBM resources and
on-line games. More
