Off topic: Middle Earth adventure game

Hi guys,
I'm still looking for players for Bozisha-Miraz, a little
adventure game that will be running through the fortnightly
zine, Infinite Threads.

This game will be played against the background of JRR
Tolkien's world of Middle Earth'. I have decided to set it
after the events of the Lord of the Rings, in the 121st year
of the fourth age. King Elessar (Aragorn) of Gondor and
Arnor has just died and the last of the Company of the Ring,
Legolas, has built a ship in Ithilien and set sail for the
West. The characters in this game will all be located in the
far south of Middle Earth, south of the realm of gondor and
on the coast of the great desert of Haradwaith.
The people of this region call their land Bozisha-Miraz.
they have largely lived their lives out of sight of the
great powers of Middle Earth, for attention usually focusses
on events to the north in and around Gondor and Mordor. Thus
Bozisha-Miraz, though coming under outside influence from
time to time, has managed to cling to its tranditional ways
and customs.

So, how will this work? Each "game" will feature one group
of players who will be set up in a particular situation.
Players are free to design their own characters - even
giving details of backgrounds and ambitions etc if you wish.
Each turn the GM will write a short adventure, which will
appear in these pages. Players are then free to talk to each
other and work out what they will do as a result of the
situation in which thhey find themselves. Although players
are encouraged to elect a party leader (who will be able to
issue orders on behalf of the whole group) the GM will allow
individual characters to deviate from these group orders so
long as things don't get too complicated.

How to Play
If you'd like to play, all you need do is send a name and a
brief idea of what sort of character you'd like to play -
details can always be filled in later. I'll take the first
five or so players as the first group. I'm more than happy
to accomodate groups of any number of players who wish to
adventure together. Drop me a line if you have any
questions.

Cheers!

Colin.
