Bloody Typical,

All we read about how the USA won the war.

My question is what about the contribution of the Australia and other
countries (NZ, Holland, Poland etc).

Bomber Command (RAF), Tobruk, Kokada Trail (First defeat of the
Japanese Imperial Forces) and other war theatres that Australia took
part in.

The reason it was called the Allies as it was a joint effort of all
countries.

Saying that America was solely responsable for the WWII victory is
irresponsible.

Yes lend lease did help, but what about Battle of Britan as it was a
contributing factor for allied victory, as it stopped any plans for a
invasion of Britian.

Without a staging point in europe the USA would have been in a
hopeless position.

Let not forget that even after Pearl Harbour, there was doubt that
America would take part in European war as Rosevelt had doubted
congress would support a war on two fronts.

It was only after Germany declared war on America that Rosevelt felt
he had a mandate to fight the war on two fronts.
