Hi there,
some dragons are said to be recruited by offering some gold. I have heard the rumor that that amount of gold must be in the treasury, but that the Dragon does not actually take it. Any intelligence on this?

I can confirm that Nimanaur takes the 10K gold offered, and joins the army, if you are a DS. Did this with a DS Rhudaur.

I can guarantee that they take the 10K also, damn near went bankrupt playing the Witch King once because I thought they didnt.
It must be Dragon specific because I CAN confirm that we had a dragon recruited by our Fire King nation by offerering the 10k and he did NOT take it. /shrug
It might be, but im 100% sure that in 1650, Nimanaur takes the 10K offered by a DS char, and joins one of the nations armies. We did this about 2 months ago in Grudgegame 76.

Well Nimanaur probably takes it. That wasn’t the dragon we recruited in this manner. The dragon that I can confirm does NOT take the 10k is Lomaw.
If this was about Nimanaur specifically then I’m sorry for the confusion. Thought it was a general thing hehe
So you are saying that you as a DS offered Lomaw 10K, and he dident take it, but joined the nations army?
What was Lomaws response, can you copy/paste it here, or mabye email me the pdf? Would like to see this, as I have tried to recruit Lomaw before with the 10K option, but as I remember it, he just dident take my offer or joined the army.

Thanks Nintelten, this is kinda strange, since this is the exact message that the 10K response from Nimanaur gave, and he did take the 10K. Will look through the PDF again and see if he actually took it, though im pretty sure he did.

We did Lomaw with the specific nation to get the dragon cause he had the money at the time to spend. Then when it was recruited and we had this extra Gold still it came as a happy surprise. Always nice having an extra 10K gold you weren’t expecting.
It could be a random thing. Some times they take the 10K and some times they don’t. shrugs
