Damn! Learned an interesting lesson. My 5,000
SG troops was stopped by an IK army with barely
more than 100. We were puzzled why the frigid
fat ones didn't end up as roadkill on our march
to Os. Now we know -- the IK was packing heat
(Lamthanc). Did not realize that 50-1 is not
an "overrun" when a Dragon is along.
Nothing we could have done, but an expensive
lesson. Well met!

I've seen dragons killed when the army they have been traveling with ahve
been overrun.
I'm sure that in one game 500 Dragon Lord troops with two Dragons was
overrun in Mirkwood by 4000 Sinda, although I could be wrong?
On the on the other hand you cannot overrun an army which has succeeded
it's evasive movement roll.
Turns out I was mistaken and -- as the WK so gently
pointed out -- I was actually stopped by a fortified
pop center, which was good for the bad guys and
unfortunately bad for the good guys. As you note,
an army with a dragon can be overrun.
(I know, how dumb am I for not noticing the pop
center?)
