load each old turn one at a time?

Nope. AutoMinister cuts out the rumours that aren't of your nations
cutting down on some of the work collating. It also collates information
from rumours and PC reports (etc) for characters and the turns they are
on. Unfortunately it's an Excel program.
However, you can cut and paste them from each turn into a file.
