Is there any way to remove that big honking compass in the NE. It
coves up some stuff like added notes entirely. I dont care much for
those sea legends either though they not blocking important data.
Any chance of just a basic map with all hexes shown clearly?

If I'm not compiling the map (say someone else is doing so on the team's behalf) and if I want rather more than just a gif map, I have the team mate send me the GameXXXX.dat file (is that right?) When he does so where do I stick it (be polite) in order to see it in Palantir?

Make sure you have created the game in question, and then you should
be able to just copy his GameXXXX.dat file into the main Palantir
directory, overwriting the one you had already. NB - if you have
added notes and such to your own copy, they will be lost when you
copy his data file over.

Make sure you have created the game in question, and then you should

That's a funny observation. Explorer on 3 different computers over 10 hours
today hasn't been able to even get ON to the megames web site...blank page
forever. Netscape gets onto the site, but won't download the poorly-slashed
files. [insert :rolleyes: emoticon here...]

IE interprets the link correctly, but Mozilla (and its varients) don't like it. It's not technically a correct link. I believe a corrected one was posted here at one point.
