And if we added in a simple
stat of how many games you have dropped, then we can easily see who is
committed and who isn't. And that's big in my book, it's the one stat I
would like to see more than anything else. Clint?
We could do this I have had a few players ask for this already. One way suggested would be to score the losing score (or some proportion) if you drop a game - encouraging those that care about their ranking to stick to the game that they pick up. I would be cautious about that as after a time a nation can become effectively non-viable - that has to be taken into account. Also some players have to drop for very personal reasons - death in the family, changing jobs etc. Not sure how to ethically rate that...
We could keep a loose tally of games dropped before end of game though - it would be a simple stat to keep - what do players think about that?
Sometimes I wish we could all only play ONE game at a time and you
couldn't start another one before the last game ended, we would see much
better games then! I just don't understand drops, pure greed I guess.End of the day, I think the ranking idea is good and should proceed.
Thanks for your feedback John, much aprpeciated.
