But Ulrik and TeamSK, sorry, but I will have to resign my
membership at this time. No more 1 weeks, no more 2 nations,
no more various grudge team memberships. I will not be able
to afford it now. I will have to maintain Team Canada for
patriotic purposes, but beyond that, the odd 2 weeker and
that's all the credit card can afford.
Sorry, and best of luck in your future games!

Having reduced my game load by about 15% (The amount of the rise) in
anticipation of the Automagic rises, I assume this means you now
intend to do the same or is this a more general protest against the
UK tax regulators that are forcing ME games to charge this money on
pains of criminal prosecution, imprisonment and sequestration of all
their worldly goods. By all accounts I've heard, Canada is a
wonderful country but does this extend to your tax authorities?
Whilst I loudly protested the AM rises, this rise is totally out of
ME games control and dropping games to punish them is both unfair and
futile. As it is, they are taking a price cut by not passing on the
full 17.5%.
It may be that this tax rise is not the correct anyway as it seems to
fly in the face of the UK's stated desire to encourage e-retailing
and the tax authorities often try things on so I'd hold on a bit
before dropping all your games.

MEGames has announced a price increase. It is across the
board, and Automagic/MEOW plays no part. I had a certain
number of positions per week that I could justify to my
wife and baby daughter. That number has thusly been
reduced. It just can't get any simpler.

Fair enough, we all have to cut our cloth. Unfortunately this is a
price rise imposed upon ME Games and they are therefore not to blame
for it. Killing the messenger may be satisfying but, in this case, ME
are just the messenger.
