greetings.
different topic this time (I'm too embarrassed to say the naughty things I
did as a young person - I blame drink and that my brain had to have been
switched off).
Now that deft (and the old GSI) sites are back online, I decided to wander
thru.
I then got to the question ... How does the USA and the UK compare on prices
for M/E ?
The USA price list is http://www.deftgaming.com/prices.html

Clint's page is http://dspace.dial.pipex.com/harlequin.games/prices.htm But
I think Clint has other charges that are not mentioned on this page (which
IMO I think he should add).
The deft site would be in USD, and the current conversion factor is 1 USD =
.6905 GBP. So 6.50 a turn by deft equals 4.48 pounds. But clint charges 3.90
pounds.
It doesn't seem right that Clint can be charging (a lot) less than the
parent company - since Clint is the middle man who needs to feed himself,
his staff, and send money back to the US parent company for the rights to
run the game in the UK. Maybe Deft want more profits then Clint ?
If anyone plays in the USA and the UK, could you confirm who is the cheaper
?
thanks
