There are only two ways to win: elimination of the opposing
side or finding
and returning the One Ring. Given that 99.9% of wins are in the former
category, I would say that a team that manages a One Ring win should
actually earn our collective respect and admiration.A One Ring win is not a "technical" win. It's a win.
in oz 2950 g6 its done to 8 DS and 1 free. Guess which side we think is
going for the one-ring victory ? (that or they have mega money in their
account).
While I once went to bed safe in the knowledge that both sides will be told
about someone getting the ring, i've since been getting nightmares over the
fact that STEALING the ring from the ring bearer doesn't give out any
warning.
I'm fine with one-ring victories. Even if the game mentioned above results
in the one free winning, I would give my congrats to the free for grabbing
victory out of certain defeat.
