My only problem with Prisoners playing is
... they have way over too much time on their hands,
(pun intended)
An American PBM company, RSI, Reality Simulations Inc.
have many "Prisoners" clients. The US Jails pays for the
postage, so kind of them.
In one game, there were a whole bunch of them I played
with / against. Obviously they were "slightly over-enthuastic"
over the whole thing, drafted an alliance "code" that's an
entire page long, spent hours writing and whatever else
... etc etc
Honestly as a full time worker, frankly I could never compete
with them in terms of amount of time spent on the game
(including time for diplomacy) or sheer enthusiasm.

P.S.
I admit I was always worried why they never ever revealed
the exact crime that's why they are in there at all.
P.P.S.
While I'm not L.T. or M, I say I stepped on a fair number
of toes in all of my various games but so far, <touch wood>,
I've not received any bombs in the mail yet, and yes, I'm talking
about PBMs, not PBEMs, a fair number of prisoners have
corresponded with me via snail mail, so they DO have my
personal house address.
