There is more than a philosophical discussion involved with the prisoner
controversy. I have played (twice) with a group of American prisoners in the
past (GSI times). I was only marginally concerned with my safety or the
safety of my family. What I was concerned with was an inability to play and
work as a team. The majority of people in American prisons are not people who
got popped once for happy weed, they are people who cannot fit into society.
You can guess how well they fit into a team game. In both cases it seemed to
me that there was one inmate that was able to play the game, though not well,
and the others seemed to have a hard time reading, much less playing the
game.
As I said earlier, I don't see this as a philosophical question, I see it as
a game question. If I get stuck with team mates like this, I want to drop. I
don't want to drop, so I don't want team mates like this.
