I was reading about the Ainur rating on the PRS pages:
"
Ainur
Grudge game a Grudge Team is defined as any group of players which has at
least 5 members of the same team as played together before. It also has
same designated Team Co-ordinator. Members can come and go as long as 5
players of the original team remain.
If you make a change to a team roster between games you lose ( C x C )
points, where C = number of players changed. This means you lose 1 point
if you change 1 team member on the roster, 4 points if you change 2, and 25
points if you change 5 etc.
Two examples of Grudge teams: Sam Roads Team GM, or Ben Shushans USA1"
Having understood that much of it, would it not be good to publish the team
rosters on the PRS pages, so that we players can see who's who and help
keep tabs on which teams are still valid?

I'd love that myself - I'd like to know which teams I'm on!

Maybe? Teams are welcome to post their names if they want.

Perhaps I'm not being clear. I think we _need_ to have the team lists up
in the interests of accuracy, transparency and fair play. Many of us are
not exactly sure which list of names constitutes the original roster to
which the team name is attached. In a team of 5 playing 10 vs 10 nation
doubles, or 6 playing 12 vs 12 doubles, under the current rules a team only
needs one or two players to run away and join the circus in order to be no
longer qualified as being the original team.
If the original roster of names for each team is not going to be published,
you at least need to inform the teams privately of which names constitute
the original roster. I don't know who's on the original list for the
Sarumen, as we've had many friends move in and move on over the years. I
need to know at which point you made a formal list.
The team rating is great, my favourite part of the whole PRS. We need to
help you though in checking that the teams meet the roster rules. We also
perhaps need to evaluate the rule about the original roster with regards to
doubles teams, or half teams. Finally, I think team names are fun, and
suggest that you try to prompt teams which are listed only under a
co-ordinator's name to get their creative thinking caps on. (We had a lot
of fun coming up with ours.)

Like I said do you which do you want - me to spend time on this or the GSI deal? I've got lots of feedback at present and want to re-open the entire discussion in depth in a few months time. Then we'll have the feedback from the questionnaire as well to use.
