PRS

I now believe you're beginning to undermine yourself, and that in your
crusade you are beginning to flail at all targets without
distinction.

From the beginning, one of my biggest complaints (other than the fact it will alter player's behaviors for the worse), is how it rewards those that spend the most money.

The win/loss ranking for individual and team both reward wins-loses meaning someone 7 of 10 (7-3 = 4) would be ranked as well as someone 4 of 4.

The VP ranking also grants increases on a game won - game lost basis, so again, he who playes the most games is most likely to be scored the highest.

The ranking that rewards "experience" based on turns run clearly rewards those that spend the most.

Even a proposed "voting system" would most reward those that spend the most as each game completed would be another chance to get votes.

I think that any system that rewards those that spend the most money must be looked at as "business reason" based.

Like I said in another post, they may as well cut the bull and just make it a listing of who spends the most money with them.

PRS as I suspect you well know, was proposed to make the game better, by
making it more fun, and entertaining for long term players; to give better
objectives for new players; and to make "grudge" team recruitment and
balance easier.

I fail to see how any PRS will do this. Some small minority of players will go back to selecting nations based on "best chance for VPs" and "best chance to win". Neutrals will go back to picking sides based on "best chance to win". Opponents will be selected based on "easy to stomp them and move on to another game".

I fail to see how a listing of "people that best scammed the system" and "those that spend the most" in any way improves the game.

You may well think that the current proposals achieve none
of these goals - and you have argued so at length and with passion - but
please don't "go over the top" and start making accusations of dark and
sinister motives.

I have not gone "over the top" at all.
