I'm always totally neutral if I play one. Even to the point of finishing
one game still neutral... A little bit of mistiming there on my part. 
I always make it clear to both sides that an attack will tip the balance
away from the attacker. That includes stealing gold. If restitution plus
interest is paid, the slate is wiped clean.
I wonder if this sort of true neutrality drives other players nuts...?
