I am awaiting a reply from the WK in this game --
who i happen to know and have played with before -- so i should have his
exact numbers soon -- as far as multiple dragons -- wouldn't it list them in
the battle report -- only states the two dragons i mentioned and i was
supposed to have one !!
Ya have me at a lost with the last statement

Thought thats what the combat caculator was for !!

RD: if you mean the combat calculator designed by a German player (sorry
forget his name), it is NOT infallible. Secondly you need to feed ALL the
stats in to get the most accurate (but still fallible) result. How many of
the enemy stats did you you know to the last digit? How many did you guess?
Maybe the enemy were better trained/higher morale/better armed/armoured had
better leaders, maybe with combat weapons, etc. Lots of unknown quantities
here!
Richard.

LOTS of things aren't listed in the battle report. Here's an example you can
do yourself: Have a mage with a magic weapon cast a spell. There is no
record of the weapon in the fight...

The combat calculators are ONLY guesstimates (Very Good Guesstimates) of the
results. They are NOT always right. There are wacky factors that apply to
battles. This comes down to the art v. science debate of a few weeks ago.
Personally, I like the "WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'M WIPED OUT?" aspect of the
game... Sure, before I die, I'd like to have the complete lowdown on each
and every aspect of the game (but at that point I probably wouldn't play
anymore), but since that won't happen any time soon, I guess I'll stick with
what I (don't) know.
Holger Eichmann write the one which I (and I think you) use.
