destroyed each other but techicnically i am the winner and thus get the skill
point -- Now having a 5 to 1 odds on the troops and each having a dragon plus
each of our points put into the CC (as John did give me his ) my troops
strength was still more and thus am trying to figure out how I get OVERRUN
and he doesn't !!

I think it would make the discussion much clearer if you would post
your entire battle message here, and convince WK to do the same.
There may be some small item in the whole thing that we're missing
that could explain everything. Just the wording in his or your
report may make the difference.

Have you considered the possibility that the dragons may have had substantially different combat values? The figure given in the Mouth of Sauron, of 45,000, is calculated from one battle, with one particular dragon (Throkmaw). The descriptions of the dragons in encounters sometimes mention size or age. If this in any way reflects say Dungeons and Dragons (1st ed) rules, it would suggest a huge variance - an Ancient dragon has twice as much hit dice and killing power as the younger types. No doubt someone has knowledge of the ICE rules on which MEPBM was based - I expect it's something similar. Could be that you had the baby dragon, and your enemy had the grandad!
