I'm 35 and a father of 3. I know that you get more of what you reward. Reward lies and deceit, and you'll get more lies and deceit. Punish bad behavior, and you'll get less bad behavior.
I've been doing turns in Notepad for 7 years, and it works great. If it causes a little more work for ME Games, then it is fitting reward for their method of presentation.
