Ratings?...to Brad, Darren, Laurence

It is no accident that this game can encourage selfish play. It was
deliberately designed to do that.

Right. But that aspect has been removed, and I enjoy the current situation much more than the old way. I have no desire to see it return to the backstabbing and fear of backstabbing that was common in the old days.

It has not been removed. I'm in a game now past turn 15 and a Neutral
is still neutral and is saying things to the effect that it is not in
his best interests to declare yet. He's been telling us that for
over 7 turns.

And I've been astounded as to how many players keep mentioning
VP's, their chances of "winning" and using VP's and their own various
interpretations of them to attemtp to recruit me to their side
(We'll win and therefore YOU will be the winner! Join us!).

But David, multiple experienced and thoughtful players have
addressed most, if not all, of Darrell's arguments. Many times
each, including Clint. Darrell has never recognized that we've
addressed his arguments and keeps screaming "Address the POINT!"
when we have. It's one of the worst infinite flame loops of
non-rational behaviour we've seen on this list to date. I've
been suckered into replying a number of times, only to be screamed
at again with precious little of my argument recognized or
digested. Don't waste your time like us other moths, so to
speak...
