Sir. I said "we believe." That is an "opinion". Based
on the arguments you continually RAM IN OUR FACES, I, and
I would suspect, many others, based on our understanding
of the ratings and our (as YOU admit, much more than YOUR)
experience playing the game, don't feel that our arguments
are totally dissimilar.
Our arguments ARE totally dissimilar. You think the rankings will be good for MEPBM. I think they will be bad. I don't see how ideas could be more dissimilar.
Any statement that we agree can be nothing more than an attempt to disarm me and avoid addressing my points.
And making a lie an opinion does not stop it from being a lie. If I were to say "I believe you are a cross-dressing, child-molesting, book-burning, industrial-waste-dumping, harley-spy." it would be just as much of a lie had I not started with "I believe".
Don't call me a liar. You don't know me, and, apparently,
are either illiterate or too busy NOT reading my point, as
you have taken "we believe" to mean "we know as universal
fact".
Your main point was that you think a ranking system will encourage good team play because the ranking system rewards being on the winning side. I addressed that point by pointing out that there is already maximum motivation for being on the winning side, and all the ranking system will do is reward "cunning" (un-fun) play.
I clearly addressed your main point. The only thing I took issue with was your attempt to claim that we agree, when we very much do not. I don't know what they call it where you live, but from where I'm at, saying something that is untrue makes you a liar.
Sorry if that offends you. I hope we can have more posts that address the main points, and fewer that try to dismiss or ignore those that disagree.
