Read About the Gunboat Experience

For those of you who haven’t had the tremendous pleasure of playing the Gunboat varoant of ME PBM, I highly recommend that you read the articles by Mike Sankey and Bryn Lloyd in Vol. 23 of “News from Bree.” Those articles are first-hand accounts of the intense and exciting game-play experienced in the Gunboat variant.

A link to that issue of “News from Bree” appears below.

If you like what you read in the Sankey and Lloyd articles, then email Clint and sign up for a game. Several players have already signed up for the next 1650 Gunboat game and the next 2950 Gunboat game. Now’s your chance to get in on a Gunboat game without having to wait too long.

Might I suggest you add a link to the issue of Bree that contained the original starting point for GunBoat ?

It was written by Chris Courtier and it appeared in an issue of Bree. I’ve spent the last 30mins trying to find it but I’m buggered if I can locate it all. Can anyone help ?

Cheers
Brendan

The original article by Chris Courtier suggesting the idea of this type of game was called “Gunboats on the Anduin” and appeared in Bree issue 12 from October 2001.
