Regarding various scenarios of Middle-earth PBM

I originally played Middle-earth PBM a number of years ago, when it
was run by GSI. I only played for a short while, but have always felt that the
core game system in place was a fairly solid one. I also liked the format that
the game presented the game information in.
I have decided to try my hand at the game once more, after a lengthy
absence from it. I am also trying to get some other individuals who have never
played it to try it, as well. I am curious as to what those who participate in
this forum think would be the best scenario for us to try, aside from Battle
of the Five Armies.
I get the feeling, right or wrong, that the Battle of Five Armies is a
reduced version of the game. I would also be interested in hearing how each
of you feel about that scenario,a nd any particular points or comments you have
about the other scenarios, as well.
       Thanks much!

Charles

*** Hi Charles, Clint the GM here. Bofa is quite a fun game - I have played it myself around 5 times. Otherwise it all depends on the style of the players - 2950 is a slower start but generally I advise players to play 1650.
