From the pbmforum, and after over 80 views of the thread, nobody's replied so I'll try here (not my question to start, but I like it!)
Can you Release a Hostage when in the water? Character with a navy or commander of, etc. Doesn't say you can't... Walk the plank? Swims to shore? Or a tripe error message? Anyone tried this?

I can't answer your question, though I would love to know the
answer. (Just for curiosity's sake. I can't imagine I'd ever
actually go to the trouble of doing this.) If soembody tries this,
please post the results.
