Boy, there are certainly a LOT of critics out there.
Has there EVER been a film based on a book which exactly followed the
book? Certainly they took liberties with the content. They always do. I
doubt very much that ANYONE thought this film would be any different.
Bottom line, the film had some differences from the book, but was still
excellent. If you disagree, you are certainly welcome to come up with
about $100,000,000 and give it a go yourself. Me? I'll just pay $4.50 to
see a movie that I may not agree with completely, but still had a great
time watching.

RD: Well said Mike. I can, and have, picked a few holes in it, but I'd certainly pay money to see it again at the next opportunity. I tried to see it again last Tuesdy but it was fully booked for 3 performances. I wouldn't try to watch a fim twice unless I thoroughly enjoyed it!
