Yes you can cast it on your own character. The
message
that is generated would say that the character is
located in or near the ----- hex just as a normal
casting would generate. No, the name of the hostage
holder is not given. By the way, that is the only way
you can find your character. (Reveal character true
works too) If you happen to have an agent in the hex
that your character is held hostage you can rescue him
with a rsecue order and it isn't as hard as the book
says. I have done it with as low as a 45Rank agent.
