Can anyone help with this riddle? I think I know the answer but just curious if other have experienced it.

And I have an encounter I am curious about…
‘Blank came over a small ridge line only to hear screams and cries for help in the valley below. Moving cautiously forward, he peered from behind some bushes and other foliage to see that a small farming village had been raided bu some ten to twenty orcs and wolves. The women of the village have already been made captive and the few remaining men seemed hard pressed by the rampaging orcs. The captives are to one side with only a few guards. It is obvious that he will be noticed as soon as he leaves his place of concealment.’

ATTACK the orcs and save the farmers
JOIN the orcs in pillaging
GO immediately for help
WATCH from hiding and see the outcome
FLEE
Shelob. Not the first evil spider, but “the last child of Ungoliant”,
who drank “red” blood, and was widely known for terror, and
had no friends. [Not sure how Gollum counts here, though.]
I think this one varies depending on your allegiance, but I haven’t seen it often enough to have an opinion.
I see. For the orc raid, can this be returned to at a later date with a higher challenge character or is this a random encounter?
I think I will risk freeing the captives regardless.
