Okie, been twisting my/our brains over this one:
They say it was part of a man,
and that it was for those who went by sea.
Where once radiance, then it did wan
Leaving unending evening for all to see.
I'm thinking it might be one of the two trees of Valinor, who once
extinguised by Melkor turned everything into evening/night. It's not
Calcirya, the pass in which the light passed onto Tol Eressea.
Anyone know the answer to this one and care to enlighten me?

Posibly Mindon Eldalieve, the Tower of Ingweon Tuna used as a
lighthouse...dark, light, dark, light...get it?

Maybe, but there is no writing of the light in the Mindon waning,
which to me tends to rule it out..
