Riddle Help Please

I think this post got lost in the world politics whirlwind.
Regrettably, I still need assistance:

d r ó û k n n a l t a o h n i

Does anybody have the slightest idea what this means?

A tough and unconventional riddle. All assistance greatly
appreciated.

Regards,

Woody

It wasn't lost, nobody answered, because the answer to this one is not in the public domain. If I know (and I'm not saying I do) then I wouldn't tell you, because you're not in a team with me at the moment, and the game is not enhanced by publishing even more encounter solutions.

I very respectfully suggest you get your scrabble tiles, Tolkien glossary and I-Spy code wheel, and have a go at working it out.

Woody,

No-one knows the answer to this - (if they do they're not saying).
However, the key to answering this is in the "û".

It's a letter not used that often in tolkien's work. Only a few words make
use of it.

Adûnaic
Amon Rûdh
Amon Sûl
Anadûne
Aranrûth
Barad Dûr
Carn Dûm
Khazad Dûm
Khamûl
Mûmakil
Nazgûl
Sea of Rhûn

(and a few others)

Does this help...? Probably not! But if you're going to try and work it
out, then it's a good place to start.

I've been trying to answer this one for years!

Mouth of Sauron #28 took a look at this. As did #42.
No one knows.

I used to think it had something to do with
Drouk-Kinnig (middle ages word for tribute) but I've
given up on that.

You can always try the Encyclopedia of Arda (the
coolest site that tries to index everything in Middle
Earth) and see if it pops up somewhere:

Woody:

There is another possibility; could it be an anagram?

drknnaltaohni is quite a mouthful and the double-n
is out of place following a hard consonant.... (unless
you speak Klingon, I guess).

Just a thought. I'm terrible at unscrambling anagrams
so I can't help there.
