I have come across a riddle which I cant find the answer to. I was
wondering if anyone out there has the answer to it. I wont mention the game
or the nation I am playing. (I dont even know what the artifact is but I
came across the Hidden Crevice and I am wondering what is in there.
It is of the most ancient form,
And tells of those of the three houses,
They who fought the dark till ne'er lost,
Who risked all with their brothers no matter the cost,
A herioc voyage enabled them to survive the dire test,
And in return were gladly given the west.
The only answer I have been able to come across was Akallabeth which was
incorrect. HELP!!!!. <grin>.

I did mention story's site. Well he has a good

The answer to his riddle is 'Narn i Hin Hurin'
its a first age riddle.
three houses - the three mannish races.
fought the dark - morgorth
their brothers - ??? Some brothers were famous, but I
wouldn't know which ones they are talking about.
heroic voyage - the small trip to the undying lands
dire test - ??? The Valar didn't take much interest
in man. the test could be related to man's gift which
is the ability to die (great gift). Seems elves come
back for a rematch. But when man die, they travel
onwards to valar only knows.
given the west - that island that the high humans
lived on during the second age.
