riddle?

In one of my games had a riddle,

Huntsman, Rider, bearer,one of seven, king bearer, tree lover…

I answered “orome”, like bobbins said and nothing it killed the character…

Any ideas? Has anyone else gotten that answer to work??

Some riddles are death riddles depending on the character’s allegiance.

For example there is a riddle where the answer is Sauron or Morgoth and if a freep character answers that riddle then he or she will be killed. However if a DS characters answers then he’ll get the artefact.

I think Orome was one of Valar and one of the most feared of the Valar by Morgoth and orcs. So if you character was DS then it would seem logically that he would be killed.

Was he DS ?

I’d be interested in hearing if you are DS, w/ death as a result to the answer.

Orome was one of the Lords of the Valar & of the Aratar, spouse of Vana. A great hunter, whom hunted monsters of Melkor w/ his beloved steed, Nahar. He loved trees, his horn was called Valaroma. AKA:

Araw in Sindarin
Bema by Men
Aldaron
Tauron
Orome the Great
Great Rider

I had the same response to that riddle with Maben (Dragon Lord mage) in another game: answered Orome, next thing I know Maben is toes up :confused: Quite disappointing, especially as he was carrying a boatload of artifacts, and he was pretty high in rank.
