army standing still (ie no orders possible), lose morale every turn, and
when morale is low to start losing numbers just as fast. The only way
around that is to send in a new commander to join the army.

Its simple to learn (just try playing Legends if you complain about the
rule book), and its is a great team game.
Again, I agree wholeheartedly. Legends is an *excellent* game but the
rulebook is a disaster. Glossy yes, but incomprehensible. Some idea of
what you can do at the start would help and, well, there's just TOO much
information. Why couldn't one find out some of the stuff as you go
along?
