Can anyone with experience help out with these questions:
At what time in the order sequence is food being consumed? Before or after the transfer of food to PC?
If there are two armies at a PC will the PC support for the food consumption in each army equally or for one army at random? (example 1: two armies of 1000HI, each with 600food in the bagage train on a town which supports 1000 troops only, what amount of food will each army has left?) (example 2: two armies of 1000HI each on the same town, but only one has 600 food in the bagage train, the other has 1 food, will both be out of food?)
If a nation is at maximum number of characters and a character gets killed by challenge/bad combat result/assassination, is his character slot open in the same turn or only the turn after?
After 340. You do not have to feed new recruits though. 1000HI in a town with 1 food can recruit 300HI and have fed movement for 1300HI
Both armies are fed at 850
Not sure on 2nd. My understanding (perhaps dead wrong) is that a pop center will feed armies proportionally. I don’t know if the baggage train comes into play.
You can die at 210/615 and name at 725-737 in the same turn.
The town feeds the armies proportionally. Since the town feeds 1000 troops it will wind up feeding each army to the tune of 500 and anything about that will have to come out of the baggage train. Therefore each army will need to eat 500 food out of their respective baggage trains leaving each army with 100 food in each army.
In example two the first army would have 100 food left and the other army would be out of food.
And yes you can name a new character on the same turn one dies by challenge or assassination or curses. This is handy for the free when they know that DS agents will be killing off army commanders and they can be replaced the same turn they are killed. If the character isn’t killed the order is wasted and NO gold is spent. Hope that helps
Though, you can not name the same character name as a dead one for a turn after he has died, the reason is s/he has to show up on your character list informing you that s/he is dead.
Does this apply if you are at full characters?? For example, you are at 21 chars about to lose three potentials to curse, PC etc. To get reports of death AND name three chars would require 24 report slots for charcters, does the game allow this to happen. Curious as i have never seen it myself
