In an independent game, one mostly hears:
"This is how my turn went and this is what I'm doing."
In a (good) Grudge game, one mostly hears:
"This is how my turn went. What are we doing next?"
So play your independent game to whatever drummer is playing in your head, it's your money. Simply be aware that the vast majority of players DO share files. Upon saying "I won't", understand that some will simply never be satisfied with whatever reasons you give and will default to assuming that your intentions are ill towards your teammates.
The Team Game psyche is Orwellian - you have to fully disclose to prove you aren't up to something, as opposed to "innocent until proven guilty".
