We had a real problem with trolls on the old GSI list, so I understand
the "sign your name" bit on posts.
Basically, we were getting suckered by people from the "real world"
who came in, baited us anonymously, and then ran after yanking our
chains for awhile. It is very common on message boards, and this is a
big reason why anonymous posts tend to be discounted/ignored on many
forums.
