OK, I stand corrected (more like enlightened)on something.
I am in a FA game and took the Challenge Bonus SNA...Now I thought
that it would be very unlikely (0-10% chance)for a CHAR to get
anything other than a challenge bonus when hiring new CHARs.
HOWEVER, I just got my first CHAR with a bonus other than challenge
rank bonus. I have hired 7 new CHARs as the turns permit and got one
with a skill rank bonus instead of challenge. I am not certain the
odds of getting a bonus other than the SNA bonus, but I have seen it
now with my own eyes.
FYI players, unless you are a military nation looking to spend the
2000 on an SNA that MAY come in handy on your commanders...SKIP
buying this SNA as it surely costs you useful skill rank additions in
my honest opinion.
