Special Nation Abilities, which command to use?

If my nation has a special ability, like Name Agents at 40, which of
the character creation orders do I use? NamChar or NamAge? I assume I
must have at least an Agent rank 40 issuing the order to begin with.

Wondering since one costs more than the other :slight_smile:

RD: if you have the SNA Name agents at 40, you need an agent who already is
at least rank 40 to name another A40 using the 731 order. If you issue 731
with an A30 you will only get an A30, regardless of the SNA (unless you are
lucky enough to get a bonus - it happens occasionally).

If you do not have an A40 at start, you will need to improve a lesser agent
to that level before you can use the SNA. There's no short cut, not even
with the 725 order.

NamAgent - you can use 725 but that will only give you a 30 rank char. 725
is generally used for when you need (for example) an Emissary and have no
Ems at your capital. Or you want a multiclassed char.

You need to have a 40 agent NamAgen.

Also, if all you have is a 38 agent, then you can use him. (You'll get another 38
agent.)
