I think the consultation went wider than email players. As for being
charged for a missed turn, it really is a fairly outrageous thing to
suggest that you resent paying for that turn. You are not just paying to
have orders entered, you're paying to be in the game per se. If this
were a roleplaying game were you got a turn as and when you sent in
orders, then obviously you only get charged on those occasions. However
I'm guessing that even a missed turn involves some sort of work at the
GM end, it's certainly the case with most games.

Yep - we generally have a big panic - check through all the files, email and
otherwise that sort of thing. Then we have to do some stuff with the
computer and check that everything went okay (usually does).

Clint, some guidance on what is possible would be good here before we
all go off into fantasy land.

Don't know if I can help - keep it sane. I doubt we can do if <X skill do
A) if >Y Skill do B) type orders. I know that they won't be a fan of that.
Be wary though this may come to nothing - but it is the closest that I have
come so far so any help is appreciated.

What I will do is when I have a few ideas (and run the Procs page for a
couple of weeks so everyone has had the option of reading it and getting
back ) I will collate the information and see if we can come to some sort of
consensus. Now I know that you aren't all going to be happy with the
outcome - but hopefully it will be better than it is right now which is my
minimum aim.
