FTR, R. Kevin Given is easily among the top 5 MEPBM players of all time (IMHO, of course).
Steve Muller, whom I consider a friend above and beyond MEPBM, is among the elite players of MEPBM, and deserves to be treated with respect (I don't think there was an intention to "dis" SM, but it happened, however backhanded or unintended). OTOH, _STEVE_ would be the first to tell you that Reverend Given is among the best, if not the best, MEPBM players of all time, and they've both been around since GSI was running games with no more than a digit or two in their numbers. SM would probably also tell you himself that, in any legitimate list of "the best players," if ranked, Kevin should be rated above him.
This simply goes to show that the list put out was flawed - but we knew that, based on the parameters of the list itself, as stated by the person who compiled it, and the limitations of available information.
To put another interesting spin on this discussion, one of the best players I've ever been associated with, Andrew Jones, _is_ among the very highest ranked players on "the list." So it's not complete tripe either.
It is, as I've already said, interesting data. Nothing more, nothing less.

PRS measures how much you play. The people in the most
games score the highest. Proof is that Clint, who
plays for free, is overall #1.
Steve Muller above Kevin Given.... What a hoot! Any
measure that doesn't put Kevin in the top 5 all time
wasn't worth the time it took to put it together, even
if it only took 10 seconds of effort.
I've been playing 10 years, and Kevin is head and
shoulders above anyone else I've ever played for or
against. Yet he's lists 80-something? I can't
beleive I've wasted this much time responding to this...
