Link attached detailing a chat transcript with Peter Jackson & Guillermo Del Toro regarding the Hobbit movie (or movies!, as you’ll see) slated for release in 2010.
Del Toro is an excellent director with a superb visual sense and P. Jackson seems willing to step out of his way and let him take the helm. The Hobbit lacks the heft of the trilogy and should make for an excellent film.
